I believe his big hair had influence on the helmet coming off. Marco used a much bigger helmet size to his head, just to accommodate the hair. He was struck twice, first by C.Edwards, then V. Rossi. He died instantly.

@sesele89 i think his death was mainly attributed to the impact of the hit itself to his body, even being hit on the head with your helmet on at such speeds can still easily kill you, if you look at craig jones’s accident, his head was struck and his helmet stayed on but died

@sesele89 Don’t think so, however, what if he did survive? He would be paralyzed most likely, he still would’ve had braindamage aswel as internal organdamage and a severely broken right arm. He wouldn’t be Marco anymore, he wouldn’t be able to do anything anymore because of severe brain and neck trauma. So I think it’s best he didn’t survive. Because he wouldn’t even be close to being the Marco Simoncelli everyone knew.

any of this guys can drive a gt3 or a rs to the the max of what the car can deliver?!?american big fart…a no name race driver that I would love to see against w. rohrl with a stock gt3 rs mk2 on the ring for few laps. i’m sure that all impressions will clear off from the steroid’s head.
