In the case of Volkswagen the CC fits the bill, with a highly stylized exterior, coupe-like silhouette and, of course, four doors.

    It’s an amazing car. Since I got my license, It was the first German Car I drove. The Feel is unparalleled by the Japanese cars or w/e, It was fun to drive. Solid Suspension and Brakes. I did sharp turns at 90km/h without feeling them and the look is sporty.

    First time when I saw CC I said that’s my dream car. Now I have it…:)
    I’m from Greece Europe and I have the 1.8 tsi engine with k04 from Audi S3…
    350ps…:) the faster Passat CC here.

    I agree to the reviewer’s “sluggish” acceleration comment. I test drove the 2.0T last week. Beautiful car. But absolutely no power at all until the turbo kicks in, and that takes a few seconds too many for my taste as I merge onto busy freeways a lot. If I lived in a rural area I wouldn’t care as much. There was so little power when pulling away from a standstill I actually asked the dealer “is there something wrong with the engine? There’s no power!” To call it a turbo is misleading.
